Accommodation at Foresteria Canal al Pianto or Hotel Canaletto, followed by a dinner at Ristorante Rossopomodoro at 7:30 PM
Guests will begin arriving in Venice throughout the day, settling into one of two partner accommodations: the Foresteria Canal al Pianto, a guesthouse set within the historic grounds of the city's Ospedale Civile, or the Hotel Canaletto, a family run hotel just a few minutes' walk from the Rialto Bridge. Once settled in, the evening opens with a welcome dinner at Ristorante Rossopomodoro on Calle Larga San Marco, only steps from Piazza San Marco. The relaxed, convivial setting offers a first chance for attendees to reconnect and meet new faces before the conference begins.
October 9th 2026 - Conference
Conference at the Scuola Grande di San Marco and visit to the Museum of Medicine, followed by a gala dinner at Osteria del Lovo at 8:30 PM
The heart of the program unfolds at the Scuola Grande di San Marco, one of Venice's great Renaissance landmarks on Campo Santi Giovanni e Paolo, where the day's sessions will run from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and resume from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with a buffet lunch served in between. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit the Museum of Medicine, housed within the same historic complex, offering a glimpse into the building's long history as part of Venice's civil hospital. The day concludes with a Gala Dinner at Osteria del Lovo on Calle del Lovo, near Piazza San Marco: an elegant close to the conference day in one of the city's most atmospheric dining rooms.
